LOOKING BACK ON 2021 + SOME MAJOR CHANGES AROUND HERE
Happy New Year!!! Is it just me or did 2021 fly by??? Last year at the beginning of January I shared the 33 websites I had designed in 2020 … Well, I just did the count of how many websites I designed in 2021 and I didn’t do as many … but I did design 30 websites … which is A LOT of websites … but somehow I survived and my clients were incredibly happy … the 30 websites I designed in 2021 are below:
I think one of the biggest things that happened to me ‘business wise’ in 2021 was that I taught myself how to design using Squarespace 7.1 … I’m obsessed with the new platform … so obsessed that I carved out time in my schedule to redesign The Editor’s Touch website and move the entire website over to SS 7.1 … And it was A LOT OF WORK because I had so many blog posts that I had written over the last 7+ years … and I had to move them all over MANUALLY!!! But I think it was well worth it … a peek at my new homepage below:
I have released a ton of new semi custom website layouts recently … some of which you can see below …
I’m so excited about this new website for me … it reminds me of how AMAZING it feels to have a brand new online vibe … I think my favorite part about this new website is how I’m sharing my launched projects … instead of keeping them in my blog, I’m having a page dedicated to 50 or so websites that I’ve designed … It’s time for me to ONLY KEEP my current work here on this website instead of everything I’ve ever designed (which is over 170 websites to date!!!) … I’m still building that page, but right now I think I have about 36 of my websites moved over to that page … I think I’ll keep around 50 of my projects there at all times :) I also love how the new pages work … instead of a scrolling page, my potential clients can click through mockups of the website I designed all above the fold … an example of these pages is below using Details Details Weddings and Events >
I have so many incredible projects on the books for 2022 … I’m excited to dive in and flex my creative muscles for my clients! I hope you love my new website … if there is something you are looking for that was on my former website, contact me and I can find it for you!
