WHEN YOUR WEBSITE DESIGNER CONTROLS YOUR DOMAIN

A lot of my clients come to me from previous experiences with other website designers … and one thing that is always terrifying is when I find out:

THEIR WEBSITE DESIGNER OWNS THEIR DOMAIN

Owning your domain for your website is CRUCIAL and if you are reading this and wondering ‘how do I know if I own my domain??’ there is a thing called WHOIS that will tell you. I recommend anyone with a website Google ‘WHOIS’ and then research your domain name to see who the owner is … and if it’s not you?? Whelp, fix that immediately if not sooner …
